Birdies, Bogies & Business 2013

Tee off into the weekend on Thursday, May 30, for the Chamber's Annual Birdies, Bogies and Business Golf Tournament presented by Davis Regional Medical Center at the Statesville Country Club. This golf tournament is a Chamber fundraiser to help support our member programs throughout the year.  Filled with great opportunities to promote your business and be a part of exclusive networking along with enjoying a round of golf - this is a tournament you won't want to miss! 
 
Gather your four-person team and try your hand at this crazy format.   
TEAM / SPONSOR APPLICATION  
 
HOLES 1 - 6       Captain's Choice
Each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.  
 
HOLES 7 - 13      Two Man Alternate Shot
Determine A, B, C and D player based on skill level - (A being the best, B next, etc) - A and D players will play as a team, B and C players will play as a team.  ALL PLAYERS TEE OFF EACH HOLE - A/D team selects the drive they want to use.  If team uses A's drive, player D must take the next shot from player A's drive.  A will then take the next shot from the point where "D"s shot came to rest.  Shots will be alternated between players until the hole has been completed.  Players B and C will play the same format.  You will have two scores on each hole: A/D score and B/C score - You will take the best score of the two.  
   
HOLES 14 - 18    Two Man Captain's Choice
Determine A, B, C and D player based on skill level - (A being the best, B next, etc) - A and D players will play as a team, B and C players will play as a team.  ALL PLAYERS TEE OFF EACH HOLE - A/D team selects the drive they want to use.  Both players hit the second shot.  They choose the best second shot and both play the third shot, etc. until the ball is holed.  Players B and C will play the same format.  You will have two scores on each hole: A/D score and B/C score - You will take the best score of the two.                
 
Registration includes green fees, lunch, beverages and a chance at winning awesome prizes. There are interactive contests throughout the day including longest/shortest drives, closest to the pin to name a few.  If you are a golfer or you would just like to support the Statesville Chamber, this is the perfect day to join us.
